With the March school holidays coming up, it’s time to bring children out to play again! Instead of going for the usual hotel staycation, why not try out campcation? Here are some reasons why campcation is a better option.

Staycation in a hotel costs much more than campcation. The startup cost for campcation may seem pricey as you need to buy tents, sleeping bags and other camping gear. However, those are only one time cost as it can be reused for the next campcation. As for staycation in a hotel, you will need to pay everytime you go for it.

Campcation is something different from what we experience everyday. A good opportunity to unplug from our daily lives to spend time in nature, relaxing at the beach and enjoy the sea breeze etc. As for staycation, it’s more or less a similar setup from our own home.

However, when you are on a campcation, you get to decide what time you want to be at the campsite or go back home. When it comes to food choices, it will be totally up to you on what you would like to eat. You can simply get some ingredients from the nearby supermarket and cook your own meal.
